BBC Storyworks – Travel (Serbia)



BBC StoryWorks series called “Serbia, the place to be” was co-created with Serbia’s Ministry of Agriculture & Tourism, for the tourist season of 2014/2015, as a direct response to increased numbers of low-cost airlines and backpackers arriving to Belgrade in large numbers. My role as Creative Director of this campaign extended to:

– writing a narrative and establishing points of interest
– developing marketing strategy
– discovering opportunities for cross-promotion
– scouting for locations and influencers
– art and visual design of website
– ads, billboards and assets

This campaign generated over 27,000 uploaded photos on Instagram, truly harnessing the power of social media and making it a highly successful user-generated campaign.
