Slava Micic is a creative professional based in Vancouver, BC. She enjoys architecture and design,  fashion photography and pop art. Prior to working in media, Slava has worked as a model, played volleyball, been an IT geek and a Microeconomics tutor. She holds a BA in Marketing, and a Master’s degree in Economics.

Slava is a founding member of Creativitality, a digital boutique integrating popular media into  marketing campaigns. In fact, Creativitality creates, maintains & rebrands marketing campaigns, and provides the framework to measure their success. For such reason, Slava spends countless hours researching, observing, and absorbing all the cool the internet has to offer.

She is most influenced by retrofuturism, fashion photography, antique furniture & architecture, and world music. The rocky hills of southern Europe are often the place she’d like to be. She equally enjoys being in front of and behind the camera, and loves the career that has taken her around the world.

Slava currently works as a freelance photographer/retoucher & marketing professional, working primarily with clients in the lifestyle, tourism, fashion and beauty industry. She also does creative contract work under Creativitality. Her collaboration with fashion designer Melissa Araujo has been featured on TrendHunter & WallaFashion (Israeli Online Fashion Magazine). Her personal project, Creative Couples, has received praise and hundreds of submissions for interviews, from around the world. Other work has appeared on Pinterest, Art of Fashion 2011 Choreology, Cruzine Magazine, New West Leader and others. Most recently, she was featured on Air Canada’s En Route magazine (October 2012).
