Village tourism, or eco-tourism – call it what you want, but the air is fresh, the food organic and the roosters don’t let you sleep in. I’m high up in the Bosnian hills enjoying the countryside. And no, I haven’t seen Brad Pitt or Angelina Jolie.
When I was a kid, I spent every summer in the village with my grandparents, mostly roaming the fields with my little cousins (who are not so little anymore). This week is all about revisiting those memories. I am even riding a 1980 Tomos – I gotta say, I got the hang of it pretty quickly considering that I’ve never ridden a motorcycle with gears. I would definitely like to have a bike that is older than me. Finally, how do you dress for the village without looking too “city”? This long skirt from Zara did the trick. And my handbag? Designer, obviously!
